Biography

Donna Burke began sliding in 1977 and made the 1980 Winter Olympic Team after winning the 1979 US Championship. Burke graduated from Amherst Regional High School in Massachusetts, where she was a hurdler on the track team. She attended Greenfield Community College, where she played on the volleyball team and majored in art and television technology. Burke settled around Lake Placid where she became a free-lance artist.
