Biography

Speed skater Paula Dufter participated in both the 1968 Grenoble and 1972 Sapporo Winter Games. She finished with limited success in all four of the women’s events at that time, her best result being a 12th place in the 500 metres in 1972. She also won the 1969 and 1970 West German all-round title and, in the latter year, also won the sprint title. She later played golf.

Personal Bests: 500 – 45.05 (1972); 1000 – 1:32.32 (1972); 1500 – 2:24.38 (1972); 3000 – 5:18.97 (1972).
