Biography

Megan Gerety was a speed racer who was on the US Ski Team for most of the 1990s, finally retiring in 2001. She raced downhill and Super-G at the 1994 Winter Olympics. Gerety competed at three World Championships. She finished fifth in downhill at the 1996 Worlds, was eighth in the same event in 1999, and was fourth in Super-G at the 2001 World Championships. Her best overall World Cup finish came in the 2000/01 season when she was 33rd. In discipline World Cups, she was fifth in the downhill and Super-G. Gerety also skied some Alpine combined events. She later married US Alpine Olympian Tommy Moe, and they settled together in Wyoming.
