Biography

Gérardine Herbos was from Bruxelles, where she was active in figure skating in the early 1920s and was one of the first Belgian figure skaters to compete at the Olympic Games. Together with Georges Wagemans, she competed at two Olympic Games, first on home soil in Antwerpen in 1920 as well as in Chamonix in 1924. Their best result was in the latter year, where they finished in fifth place out of ten other pairs. Domestically, she won the ladies’ singles championship title in 1921. She retired from competition in the mid-1920s.
