Biography

Austrian alpine skier Anni Kronbichler participated at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. She finished 14th in the giant slalom and eighth in the slalom. In total, she won three world cup races, all in slalom events. In 1985, she came an unfortunate fourth in the slalom at the World Championships.

In 1982, Kronbichler won the Austrian national giant slalom title. After her active career, she completed her training as a ski instructor and ski guide as well as a health and nursing assistant. For several years she ran the ski school in Walchsee.
