Biography

Sophie Lefranc-Duvillard was a giant slalom specialist who competed at the 1992, 1994, and 1998 Winter Olympics, with a best finish of fifth in the giant slalom at Nagano in 1998. She also competed at the 1993 and 1997 World Championships. She had two World Cup podium finishes in giant slalom, a silver and a bronze, and won two titles at the European Cup. Lefranc-Duvillard competed at the World Cup from 1993-98, with her best seasonal finish a seventh in giant slalom in 1998. She was married to French skier Adrien Duvillard.
