Biography

Linda Meyers grew up in Bishop, California, near Mammoth Mountain, where she was inspired to start skiing by Jill Kinmont. She later skied for the University of Utah and the Mammoth Mountain Ski Club. Meyers competed at the 1958 and 1962 World Championships, in addition to her two Olympic appearances, placing fifth in the combined event at the 1962 Worlds. In 1962 she was giant slalom champion at Grindelwald, Switzerland. She later settled in Colorado and coached junior skiers.
