Biography

Shannon Nobis skied the Super-G at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Nobis won four medals at the 1994 Winter University Games, with golds in the slalom and combined, and bronzes in the Super-G and GS. She is the sister of 1994 US Olympian Jeremy Nobis. Shannon Nobis later married and became Shannon Scherer, settling in Moab, Utah with her family. She eventually became a marathon runner, finishing the Boston Marathon in 2005, and running multiple other road races.
