Biography

Törner Åhsman lost in the second round of heavyweight boxing at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. He turned professional after the Olympics, fighting as a pro from May 1957 through June 1962. Åhsman fought mostly in Sweden, with one bout each in Denmark and Germany. He won his first seven bouts, but then lost three of his last seven, eventually retiring with a professional record of 11 wins (5 by KO), 3 losses, and 2 draws. He never fought for any major titles.
