Munich-based West German figure skater Rose Pettinger finished tenth at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics and was a two-time West German singles champion in 1955 and 1956. She competed in the World Championships 1953-55 with a best finish of 11th in the latter year. Pettinger also took part in five European Championships between 1952-56, finishing fourth in both 1955 and 1956.
