Biography
West German figure skater Manuela Ruben finished seventh at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics in the ladies’ singles event. Her greatest achievement was a silver medal at the 1984 Europeans. The same year she had her best result at the Worlds, placing sixth. Ruben won national titles from 1982-84. Before she started figure skating she was active in roller skating. Ruben later toured with Theater on Ice.
