Biography

Libuše Veselá was a figure skater who represented Czechoslovakia from 1926 to 1934. Veselá competed at the 1928 St. Moritz Olympics with her husband Vojtěch Veselý in the mixed pairs. They finished in 12th place. Six years later at the 1934 European Championships they finished in 10th place in the mixed pairs. The pair were also national champions five times during the late 1920s and early 1930s. After finishing her competitive career Veselá worked as a referee.
