Biography

Bob Arnott skiied for Australia at the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympics. He was a member of the Ski Club of Australia and later wrote its 75th anniversary history. Arnott was born in Sydney and attended Cranbrook School and the University of Sydney, graduating in 1945. His father, Henry Dixon Arnott, was a barrister and President of the Royal Aero Club of New South Wales, while his great-grandfather was William Arnott, who founded Arnott’s Biscuits.
