Biography

Bernhard Bagnoud was a Swiss ice hockey player who was active during the 1950s. Bagnoud played for Lausanne HC from 1951 to 1954 before joining HC La Chaux-de-Fonds for the 1955–56 season. At the time he was then selected to represent the national team at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Olympics where he scored six goals in five matches. He continued to play for the Swiss team including competing at the 1959 World Ice Hockey Championships. After his playing career Bagnoud became a noted yoga teacher and wrote a book on the subject in 2013.
