Italian ice hockey player Luigi Bestagini first played for Diavoli Rossoneri in Milano in the 1936–37 season before moving to AMDG Milano. Following World War II Bestagini returned to Diavoli Rossoneri in 1946 and later served as their head coach in 1952–53. He also played for the Italian national team in 1939–40 before being selected to compete at the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics.
