Biography

Swiss-born André Blatter was an Austrian cross-country skier participating in the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. He finished 32nd and 19th over 15 and 50 km respectively. With the Austrian 4x10 km relay squad he came tenth.

Domestically, Blatter won the relay titles in 1986, 1988, 1990, 1994, and 1997, and the 50 km individual title in 1988 and 2002, 15 km in 1990, and 30 km in 1986. In the four Nordic World Championships between 1985-93, a seventh place with the relay in 1987 was his best result.
