Biography

After graduating from North Community High School in Minnesota, Karl Bohlin skied for the Minneapolis Ski Club and the University of Minnesota, but later attended Western State College in Colorado. As a freshman at Minnesota, studying forestry, he won the 1958 NCAA cross-country title. Bohlin joined the Army and competed in both cross-country and biathlon for military teams. In 1962 he competed at the World Nordic Ski Championships for the US.
