Biography

Wilhelm Braun was the first Olympic participant from his home club Schneeschuhverein Baiersbronn, and was the 1924 German Champion in the 50 km. At the 1928 St. Moritz Winter Olympics he came in 29th over 18 km cross country skiing. A farmer, in 1969 he died on a heart attack during a hunt.
