Ice hockey player Carlo Bulgheroni was only 11-years-old when he was selected to play for the Italian under-14 team in 1939–40. Bulgheroni spent his entire domestic career in Milano, winning six consecutive league titles from 1946 to 1951. He made his senior international début for the Italian national team in 1945 and competed for his country three years later at the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics.
