Biography

Gianni Carrara was an Italian cross-country skier in the 1950s. At 26-years-old he competed at the Cortina Winter Games in the 50 km where he was 17th overall. At the Italian Championships in the 50 km he was third, first and second, respectively, in 1957-59. From 1980 until the later 1990s he coached at the Italian biathlon center in his hometown of Serina.
