Biography

Christen Christensen won, together with [Randi Bakke], eight Norwegian pair skating championships in a row, from 1929 to 1936. The pair had the following placements at major international championships - 1923 World Championships (5th); 1933 World Championships (3rd); 1934 World Championships (5th). They ended their competitive career after the 1936 games. Christensen served as a member of the figure skating committee of the Norwegian Skating Association from 1937-40 and from 1945-47. He worked as a businessman, running a radio shop in Oslo.
