Biography

Austrian figure skater Heinz Döpfl partnered Diana Hinko at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. Both finished eighth in the pairs event. They also took part in the 1959 and 1960 World Championships, finishing seventh and eighth respectively. From 1957-61 they also participated in the European Championships and finished fifth in 1961 as their best result.

Between 1959-61 Döpf and Hinko won three national titles. Döpfl also competed in men’s singles, winning two bronze medals in 1954 and 1955.
