Biography

Sébastien Foucras specialized in freestyle aeriels, competing at both the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympic Games. Finishing only 24th in 1994, Foucras came through for the silver at Nagano in 1998. This followed the 1995 World Championships where he won a bronze medal. His best season was 1995-96 when he won the seasonal World Cup, with 7 victories and 26 podium finishes. He was also World Junior Champion in 1989. After his sporting career ended Foucras created, alongside Benoît Eycken, the Stars of Sport 1, an annual sporting event, and he became the director of Alizeum Sport, a consulting and sport marketing agency. His long-time partner has been Marie-Josée Pérec, with whom he has one child.
