Biography

Karol Damon was a high jumper who competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She had placed fourth at the 1996 US Olympic Trials, and stopped jumping for six months after that disappointment, which was her incentive to win the 2000 US Olympic Trials. Damon competed in college at the University of Colorado, finishing third at the NCAA Meet in 1991 and fourth in 1992. Damon also competed at the 1999 World Indoor Championships and the 1999 World Championships.

Damon later married, eventually becoming Karol Rovelto. She became director of track & field operations at Kansas State University.
