Pretty much a career minor leaguer in the nets, Ray LeBlanc played goal in one NHL game, being called up in 1992 for an emergency start by the Chicago Blackhawks. LeBlanc began his career in major junior hockey with the Markham Waxers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League in 1983 and later moved to the Dixie Beehives and Kitchener Rangers in that league. He then began a minor league odyssey that carried him to most of the major North American Leagues. LeBlanc played in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League with the Pinebridge Bucks (1984-85) and Carolina Thunderbirds (1985-86); in the American Hockey League for the New Haven Nighthawks (1988-89), then had a long tenure in the International Hockey League, playing for the Flint Spirits (1986-89), Saginaw Hawks (1988-89), Indianapolis Ice (1989-90), Fort Wayne Komets (1989-91), Indianapolis Ice (1990-94), Cincinnati Cyclones (1993-94), and Chicago Wolves (1994-98); then he had a brief stop in the United Hockey League with the Flint Generals (1997-98), before ending his career in the East Coast Hockey League with the Jacksonville Lizard Kings (1998-2000).
