Biography

Elsie Muller-McLave was a speed skater who competed in the women’s demonstration speed skating events at the 1932 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. She appeared in the 500 metres, 1,000 metres, and 1,500 metres, placing fifth in the 500 metres. Her best year was 1931 when she won US and North American titles, both indoors and outdoors. Muller-McLave was inducted into the National Speedskating Hall of Fame in 1968.
