Biography

Pat Pacillo was a right-handed pitcher who started for the USA at the 1984 Olympic demonstration baseball tournament. Pacillo played college baseball at Seton Hall University. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the first round (5th pick) of the 1984 Major League Baseball Draft. Pacillo played two seasons in the minors but came up to the Reds in May 1987.

Pacillo played basically one year of Major League baseball. He was traded to the Montreal Expos in June 1988 and never played again in the majors, appearing in the minors through the 1990 season. His career record was 4 wins, 3 losses, with an ERA of 5.90. Pacillo settled with his family on the Jersey Shore in New Jersey. He worked as a financial advisor.
