Biography

Vane Sutton was a pitcher on the USA baseball team at the 1956 Olympic demonstration event. However, he helped his team’s cause by hitting a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning. Sutton was in the military in 1956 and spent 26 years with the US Army and US Air Force. After retiring from the military Sutton worked in civil service at Randolph Field Air Force Base.
