Biography

Millard Lang went to Baltimore Polytechnic Institute High School, where he received awards in five different sports. During his time at Johns Hopkins he was selected for the All-American lacrosse first team three times at three different positions. With this team he was National Champion for three consecutive years 1932-34 and co-captained the team in 1934. His success with Johns Hopkins qualified him for the 1932 Olympic team. In the late 1930s Lang played semi-professional soccer, playing for the 1938 national champions. He later coached the Baltimore Americans, officiated lacrosse, and became co-owner of the Baltimore Rockets. Lang was inducted into the National Lacrosse and Football Halls of Fame.
