Biography

Tanya Lindenmuth was a track cyclist who raced the sprint at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, placing sixth. She was born near the Trexlertown Velodrome in Pennsylvania, which led to her discovery of track cycling. Lindenmuth started out as a speed roller skater, however, until an injury kept her off the skates for a time. During that time she began riding after she watched track racing at Trexlertown.

Lindenmuth raced the sprint and the 500 metre time trial, competing in both at the 1999 World Championships after she won the events at the USA Championships. She raced for the Focus 2004 Cycling Team.
