Biography

Alfred Umgeher was an Austrian flatwater canoeist who participated in the 1948 London Olympics. He finished ninth with Walter Piemann in the kayak doubles over 10,000 metres. The same year he won a silver medal at the World Championships in the kayak fours over 1,000 metres with Herbert Klepp, Paul Felinger and Piemann.
