Biography

Chris Albright was a football (soccer) fullback who played for the USA at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and earned 27 caps on the US National Team. He was on the US team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup but did not play in a match.

Albright played in college at the University of Virginia for two years, making the 1999 All-American team. He later played in Major League Soccer from 1999, starting with DC United, and then from 2002-07 with the Los Angeles Galaxy. He also played for the New England Revolution, the New York Red Bulls, and the Philadelphia Union, before retiring after the 2013 season.

In 2014 Albright became the Philadelphia Union’s assistant technical director. In 2021 he was named general manager of FC Cincinnati.
