Laura Fritz was an Austrian handball player finishing fifth at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She won 145 international caps and scored 212 goals. Domestically, she played with Hypo Niederösterreich (1997-2000), ZHV Wiener Neustadt (2001-06), and Tecton WAT Atzkersdorf (2006-08). In 1998 and 2000, she won the EHF Champions League with Hypo Niederösterreich.
