German Hermann Keimel was a painter and graphic artist. He created and designed numerous posters for events and political parties. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in München, he worked as a teacher at the Meisterschule für das Deutsche Malerhandwerk (Master School for German Painter Craftswork). Keimel was a member of the München painter Community “The Twelve” and the New Union of München Poster Artist. He designed the poster for the 1930 German Ski Championships in Oberstdorf.
