Luxembourg painter Corneille Lentz studied at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Bruxelles (Brussels). He mostly painted flowers and landscapes but also produced some church murals. After his marriage, he was also listed under the compound name Lentz-Schoenberg and ran a store for painters’ supplies under this name. Lentz was president of the Fédération des Patrons Peintres et Vitriers du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg from 1928-31. His brother Jacques Lentz (1881-1933) was a famous singer under the name Haryso.
