Gyula Kiss was a middle-distance runner from Transylvania. His most successful year as an athlete was 1911. He placed second in the one-mile race at the Hungarian Championships representing ATK. In the same year, he won the cross-country running championship of Southern Hungary over 11 km, helping his club to win the team championship as well.
