Biography

Rickard Greenfort never competed at the Olympics but was entered in the 10,000 metres at the 1952 Helsinki Games. A distance runner with FIF Hillerød (1940-1944), Helsingør IF (1945), and AIK 95 (1946-53), Greenfort finished seventh in the 5,000 metres at the 1946 European Championships. He won 10 Danish titles, with two in the steeplechase, three in the 5K, four in the 10K, and one in cross-country. He also added one silver and six bronze medals at the Danish Championships.

Personal Best: 5K – 14:40.4 (1948).
