Biography

Christina Cassidy was a pistol shooter who competed in air pistol at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She won silver medals in air pistol at the 1998-99 Junior Olympics and then won gold in that event in 2000. Cassidy started out in sport shooting as a rifle shooter but converted to pistol. Cassidy competed at the 2000 Olympics when she was only 18-years-old. She continued competitive shooting and was third at the 2008 USA Olympic Trials.
