Michelle Do

Michelle Do played doubles table tennis at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, alongside Jun Gao. Gao and Do were US National Champions in 1999-2000. At Sydney they won one of their group stage matches but did not advance to the knockout rounds.

Do was a Vietnamese-American whose parents came to the USA in 1971. At 17-years-old, she was the youngest US table tennis Olympian in 2000, by over eight years. She was from California and attended Notre Dame High School in San Jose. She later married Barney Reed, raised a family, and for a time worked as an office manager at Skye Dental in Milpitas, California.
