Biography

Volleyball player Kerstin Tzscherlich was on the German squads that participated in the Olympic tournaments at Sydney in 2000 (finished sixth) and Athens in 2004 (ninth). In 2003, Tzscherlich won the bronze medal at the European Championships, and the silver medal in 2011. In total, she won 373 international caps. At club level, Tzscherlich played with Dresdner SC from 1990-2013 and helped them win the German national title in 1999 and 2007, and also the German Cup in 1999, 2002, and 2010. Since 2017, she played with the lower level club SG Mauersberg.
