Biography
German weightlifter Lars Betker participated in the middle-heavyweight class at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and finished 17th. At the 1997 World Championships he placed fourth as his best international result. Two years later, he was fifth. After his retirement from active competition, Berker turned to coaching at Frankfurt an der Oder. He also became Regional Coach at Brandenburg.
