Biography

Kevin Miller played for the Redford Royals of the Great Lakes Junior League and then played for four seasons at Michigan State. Miller then played from 1988-99 in the NHL with eight teams, and came back for four games with the Detroit Red Wings in 2003-04. He started out with the New York Rangers, then played with the Red Wings, before travelling around to the Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues, San Jose Sharks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Black Hawks, and the New York Islanders in 1998-99. In his NHL career, Miller played in 620 games, scoring 150 goals, and 335 points. He also played some in the minor leagues, with the Flint Spirit, Indianapolis Ice, Chicago Wolves of the International Hockey League, the Grand Rapids Griffins of both the International and American Hockey League, and the Flint Generals of the United Hockey League. Internationally Miller played for the US at the 1988 Winter Olympics, the 1992 Canada Cup, and the World Championships in 1991, 1998, and 2003. He later started a career in investments, working with Further Lane Securities.
