Biography

Terry Palmer had one year on the World Cup circuit, 1971-72, posting one top 10 placement, and then skied on the pro ski tour in the 1970s. He later became a ski instructor and coach. Palmer settled near Sun Valley, Idaho, working in real estate with McCann-Daech-Fenton.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Ketchum/Sun Valley Historical Society Heritage and Ski Museum and as a board member of the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. His brother, Tyler, also competed with him at the 1972 Winter Olympics and on the pro ski tour. A trail at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire is named in his honor, Terry’s Trail.
