Biography

André Patey was a French bobsledder who was active during the 1960s. Patey was part of the crew that competed in the first French sled in the four-man event at the 1968 Grenoble Olympics. The competition suffered from poor weather conditions that resulted in the final two runs being cancelled. After the two completed runs the French team recorded the same overall time as the British sled, with both finishing in 2:18.84. France won the tie-break for seventh place by having the fastest time in the second and final run.
