French sportsman Roger Petitdidier was active during the 1920s in both summer and winter sports. Petitdidier was part of the French delegation that competed at the 1928 St. Moritz Olympics. France had two bobsleigh teams competing in the four-man event, with Petitdidier being in the team that finished 14th overall, just one place ahead of the other French crew. His brother Jacques was part of the same bobsleigh team at the 1928 Games. Roger also played field hockey and was part of the French squad that competed in the tournament at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, playing in the group matches against Spain and Germany.
