Biography

Magnus Satre emigrated with five brothers from Norway and they helped popularize Nordic skiing and ski jumping in the United States. Magnus Satre was a six-time US Champion in Nordic combined. He and his brother Ottar Satre both made the 1936 Olympic team and both became US citizens on the day they sailed for the 1936 Winter Olympics.
