Biography

Giacomo Scalet was an Italian cross-country skier who had his best results in the 1930s. His only major international competition was the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Winter Olympics where he took part in the 50 km, finishing 22nd. Domestically he achieved his best result in 1938, winning the national title in the 50 km. He was also second in the same event in 1936 and third in the 18 km in 1932.
