Biography

After playing at Hopkins High School in Minnesota, right-winger Dave Snuggerud played with the Minnesota Junior North Stars of the US Hockey League, and then went to the University of Minnesota. Snuggerud would later play four seasons in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres, San Jose Sharks, and the Philadelphia Flyers. Snuggerud represented the US at the 1988 Winter Olympics and the 1989 World Championships. He finished his pro career with a single season (1994-95) with the Minnesota Moose of the International Hockey League. Snuggerud later became a high school hockey coach, starting at Chaska High School in his native Minnesota.
