Biography

Fritz Spielmann was an Austrian ice hockey forward who participated in the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics, where the team placed tenth and last. Four years later at Squaw Valley, he was again on the team that finished 13th. In total, Spielmann won 58 international caps.

Domestically, Spielmann played with Innsbrucker EV, helping them win seven national titles. He also played football and won two international caps with the Austria B team. Spielmann became an insurance agent by occupation.
