Hans Sulzer was an Austrian ice hockey defender and member of the Olympic national team at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. The team was eliminated in the group stage and finished ninth. He won 70 international caps and scored 14 points.
Domestically, Sulzer played 14 seasons for his native club Klagenfurter AC in the Austrian league. During that time, he won seven championship titles and played 462 matches collecting 169 points (41 goals + 128 assists). Sulzer was known as one of the toughest defenders in the league.
